Mayor Mike's Revenge

What I need for home defense

Bloomy circles wagons at Gracie as mayors take aim in guns war

Waging war on illegal handguns, Mayor Bloomberg and his counterpart from Boston have invited mayors from around the country to a "national summit" at Gracie Mansion next week.

"Gun crime is a national problem that requires a national approach, and no city can solve the problem acting alone," Bloomberg said in a statement, announcing his partnership with Boston Mayor Thomas Menino.

"That's why we're teaming up to take on illegal guns and crack down on those who possess and sell them more aggressively than ever before," Bloomberg said.

Bloomberg, a Republican, went to Washington two weeks ago and testified before Congress against a proposed gun bill, calling it "a God-awful piece of legislation." He told lawmakers that combating gun violence is not a partisan issue.

Bloomberg's longtime girlfriend, Diana Taylor, was scheduled to become head of the FDIC, the people who insure your deposits, until the NRA blocked her appointment. Well, now, I guess he's taking his revenge, because he was pissed beyond words when the NRA fucked with his woman.

So now, he gets to make his point again.
