More on the Path to Football

Do you want to see me or some rigtht wing

More on ABC's mockudrama

by kos
Wed Sep 06, 2006 at 09:50:06 AM PDT

Editor and Publisher looks at the ABC muckudrama. In addition to omitting Bush's "pet goat" moment (remember, it's not "literal truth"), there's the already famous fictional account of Bill Clinton passing up an opportunity to capture or kill OBL.

"ABC responded Tuesday with a statement saying that the miniseries was 'a dramatization, not a documentary, drawn from a variety of sources, including the 9/11 commission report, other published materials and from personal interviews.'"

Gov. Kean said the scene in Afghanistan and the attempt to get bin Laden "is a composite."

A "composite"? Is that the new Orwellian term for "lie"? "Fabrication"? "Invention"? "Fevered fantasy from the depths of the Free Republic?"

And interestingly enough, while ABC has provided copies of the movie to Rush Limbaugh and right-wing bloggers, it refuses to give it out to Bill Clinton, Sandy Berger or Madeleine Albright.

Keep up the pressure on ABC and its local affiliates.

Rush gets a copy, but not Clinton?

I wonder how the Giants will outhink Peyton Manning.

Because that's what America will be watching.
