I'm sorry Mr. Cheney

No big deal. Except for the placement of the
birdshot up and down his face
Associated Press:
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) -- The lawyer shot by Vice President Dick Cheney during a hunting trip was being discharged from a hospital on Friday and told reporters he was sorry for all the trouble Cheney had faced over the past week.
...
Whittington thanked the hospital staff. He also said he was sorry for all the difficulty the vice president and his family had faced. He said the past weekend encompassed ''a cloud of misfortune and sadness.'' ''My family and I are are deeply sorry for everything that Vice President cheney and his family had to go through this week,'' Whittington said, appearing emotional in front of television cameras.
Yeah, getting a verbal handjob from Fox News.
Cheney was sloppy in his gun handling, but who pays Whittington's bills? The Armstrong and King families among others.
So of course he's gonna play the Texas gentleman here. He's got no choice. Not if his family wants to eat.
Look at his face. Whittington is lucky he's alive.
If he gets sick in the next few months from the stress of the operations, don't be shocked.
The right is so morally bankrupt that even when a simple statement of accountability, the kind they expect from the poor, isn't made, they minimize the obvious and hope we're too stupid to notice that a man was shot in the face by a sitting vice president and had a heart attack because of it.
Hey, anyone who doesn't think a face full of birdshot isn't a big deal is more than willing to get shot at 15-30 yards and come back and tell us how it feels.
